LastPass still manages my passwords and can fill login screens in Safari. However I have deactivated the extension in Safari. Now the user experience is terrible.Unlocking and using LastPass with FaceID works fine on all my iOS devices. What the hell happened LastPass/LogMeIn? You guys used to be good at this stuff. Sometimes I've clicked the little icon in a form field and I'll get a pop up window on a totally different screen (different monitor), but the pop up is always half way off the screen and cannot be relocated. Clicking on an option to fill a form from the extension often does nothing. You are just in the LastPass app now, and you have to navigate back to Safari and try to use the extension symbol (see item 1).ģ. No option to select a fill, no popping back to the safari window.

If it does anything at all, it just jumps to the LastPass MacOs app. Using the little shortcut buttons that appear in the field of a form literally never works now. The extension icon, when clicked, is extremely slow to populate, which means you stare at an empty white box for up to 10 seconds every time you click on it.Ģ. The LastPass extension for Safari has been an absolute mess since I upgraded to Big Sur.ġ.

Here is a screenshot of my activity monitor. The web extension of Lastpass however still works fine for Firefox. Clicking the Open Vault link on the Safari extension brings up the non-responsive MacOS App. The only way I can get it to stop running is using Force Quit via Activity Monitor. Clicking the red x to shut down the app doesn't work.

Just after downloading the latest update, the MacOS version of the LastPass app doesn't respond anymore. I'm a Mac user with LastPass Premium account.
